Katie Henderson, MS, CPC

Katie Henderson is a Workplace Wellness and Telemedicine Strategic Specialist at Univera Healthcare, joining the team in 2016. During her time, Katie has inspired providers to adopt telehealth through various presentations, support, and development of provider resources. Katie is a Certified Professional Coder, which has assisted in discussions around telehealth policy, billing, and coding. Katie, also received her Masters in Health Education at Ithaca College.

Bruce Naughton, M.D.
Vice President, Chief Medical Officer - Medicare

Dr. Naughton is the Vice President and Chief Medical Officer for Medicare at Univera Healthcare. He is a graduate of the State University of New York where he earned his M.D.

Dr. Naughton completed his residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Northwestern University in Chicago. Following residency, he joined the faculty at Northwestern University School of Medicine where he became the first Chief of Geriatric Medicine in the school’s history. At Northwestern he implemented a number of programs in geriatric medicine and published articles in geriatric rehabilitation, and inpatient care. In 1994 Dr. Naughton returned to State University of New York at Buffalo where he continued research and clinical work in skilled nursing care, home care, and delirium. He has received research funding from NIH, AHRQ, the Reynolds and Oshei foundations and has authored over 55 published articles and a book on primary care for older adults.

Dr. Naughton joined Univera Healthcare in 2015. His work currently focuses on innovation in care management, nursing home care, and alternative payment methods.

He enjoys running half marathons, cooking with his wife, and live music. He and his wife Katie have three sons and three dogs and live in the city of Buffalo.
