What is the Star Plan Rating and What Does It Mean to You?

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services has created a five-star quality rating system to help you and your family and/or caregivers select a Medicare plan. Every year, plans are assessed based on a number of factors, including:

  • Customer satisfaction and service: including timeliness of service response and accuracy of the information we provided to our members.
  • Managing chronic conditions: how well treatment meets the medical conditions of members with chronic illnesses.
  • Staying healthy: percentage of members whose health is maintained through preventive care, such as regular physicals and vaccinations.

The Star Rating is based on information collected from actual members like you, clinicians and Medicare’s comprehensive monitoring process. Our Star Rating is a testament to how hard we work to help support your health and wellness. Our preventive health screenings, dedicated Medicare-only customer service department, and numerous health and wellness programs are just some ways in which we go above and beyond.
