Meet Gretchen LaDuca: Pharmacy Business Administrator
The hours of travel, icy rink-side bleachers, juggling seemingly impossible schedules—being a hockey mom takes true commitment. And Gretchen loves every minute of it. Because her son loves every minute of it. It’s the kind of dedication that extends beyond her family to include both her community and the Univera Healthcare members she serves every day.
As a Pharmacy Business Administrator, it’s Gretchen’s job to make sure members have access to the medications they need at more affordable prices. It’s no doubt a role that requires a whole lot of number crunching, but it’s what she does beyond the data that makes her so unique. Researching the details of plan-covered drugs and working with pharmacists aren’t mandatory aspects of her job, but she does these things anyway. Because they help her do a better job and help Univera members receive the right medications.
And even though they’ll probably never meet face to face, Gretchen feels good knowing that she’s doing all she can to keep other Western New Yorkers, fellow sports moms, and the kids they cheer for happy and healthy.
